Although "Start Riding Right" is addressed primarily to the novice who wishes to start building a sound foundation from the very start, its presentation of the fundamentals on which all riding is based is so sound and so explicit that it can serve equally well as a review for advanced riders and a guide and synopsis for instructors. This is the first book by Commandant Licart to appear in English. However, his works are widely known in France, where the present volume has become accepted as a modern classic. Line drawings by Jean Moreau de Tours illustrate the author's text.
