Diane Dansereau is an Associate Professor of French at the University of Colorado at Denver, where she is Director of the French Program. She specializes in foreign language pedagogy, applied linguistics, and French language courses including phonetics, history of the French language, grammar, composition, conversation, and culture. Dr. Dansereau received her Ph.D. in Romance Linguistics from the University of Michigan. She has published several articles in professional journals, has served as a Certified ACTFL Oral Proficiency Tester, and is a member of several professional organizations including the American Association of the Teachers of French and the Modern Language Association. In 1991 she was named the Outstanding Teacher for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado at Denver.
