Review: Overall a good introduction to climatology - several years ahead of its time August 18, 2008 By M. SANCHEZ Format:Paperback Nigel Calder's text provides a pretty good summary of Earth's weather systems and where they come from. It also does a good job of debunking the global "ice age" hysteria that was present in the news media at the time - and in the process it gives one insights into why the climate might be warming right now (hint - it's part of a natural process and it doesn't involve CO2). A classic - wish I could still find my copy.
