About the Author:

Sherry Torkos, BSc., Phm., is a nationally recognized pharmacist, author and lecturer. She has written several health booklets, as well as articles for numerous publications, and is the author of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Women’s Health for Canadians. As a health expert, Sherry is interviewed frequently on radio and appears regularly on CHTV’s Body and Health, Global, CTV and CityTV. She lives an practices holistic pharmacy in the Niagara Region.

Farid Wassef, RPhm., CNN, is a highly regarded pharmacist who has published articles in publications such as the American Journal of Natural Medicine, the International Journal of Integrative Medicine and Pro Health. Currently he serves as an advisory board member at the Institute for Functional Medicine and an editorial board member for the Journal of the American Nutraceutical Association. He regularly conducts seminars for health professionals, hospitals, health associations and the public on the safe and ethical use of natural products and nutritional medicine. He owns Houston Pharmacy in Stouffville, Ontario, where he lives and practices as a pharmacist and clinical nutritionist.
