Synopsis
1976 Slipcase Edition contains two full-color trade-papaerback books: Origins of Marvel Comics and its sequel Sons of Origins of Marvel Comics. Published by Marvel through Simon and Shuster's Fireside division, these landmark books contained the first reprintings of some of Marvel's most important historic character origins, first appearances, and key early stories. All with introductions by Stan Lee. It would be a quarter century before the trade paperback format became a cornerstone of comic publishing.
