Clearly represented are concepts such as ``riding'' on Grandpa's back, ``looking'' in a mirror, and ``cooking'' at a toy stove with Grandma. Most of the subjects are Caucasian, but one Asian grandpa and one black grandma are shown with their grandchildren. The most successful photos illustrate the action, such as grandma clapping hands with granddaughter. A few static poses, such as a little girl and grandma holding a piece of chalk and a chalkboard on which is written, ``I Love You,'' don't show the act of writing.
