From School Library Journal

Kindergarten-Grade 4 This attractive book is a retelling of the Passover story of Moses leading the enslaved Israelites out of Egypt. The full-color illustrations, although somewhat idealized, help to make the story vivid. The style is simple, direct, and clear. Special sections illustrate and describe the Seder. Included are two recipes for haroset, one of the symbolic foods on the Seder Plate. Also included are words and music for the traditional song ``Dayenu.'' Offer this along with Epstein's All About Jewish Holidays and Customs (Ktav, 1969) and Adler's A Picture Book of Passover (Holiday, 1982). Ruth Shire, Mount Vernon Pubic Library, N.Y.
