It's the end of the world as we know it...
...and Nathan Hoddy would feel fine, if only he could get his brilliant new script green-lighted. It's a commercial for Claustrosphere, the hermetically sealed geodesic domes in which a lucky owner and his chosen companions can ride out the coming Eco-Armageddon. Of course, the Greenies say these self-supporting BioSpheres are nothing less than planetary treason - that they foster a global death-wish madness and only hasten the planet's ecological collapse. But who cares what a bunch of terrorists and weirdos think? Not Nathan. Media and marketing giant Plastic Tolstoy - the most powerful man in the world - has just commissioned him to expand his commercial into a full-length "advertainment." All Nathan cares about is that his movie gets made...and that there's someone left to see it.
In marketing terms the end of the world will be very big. Anyone trying to save it should remember that.

Small, well appointed future. Semi detached.
If the end of the world is nigh, then surely it?s only sensible to make alternative arrangements. Certainly the Earth has its good points, but what most people need is something smaller and more manageable. Of course there are those who say that?s planetary treason, but who cares what the weirdos and terrorists think? Not Nathan. All he cares is that his movie gets made and that?s there?s somebody left to see it.
