Synopsis
In one of his earliest works, Kuznets identified fluctuations of fifteen to twenty years duration analyzed in terms of aggregate price, profitability and output variations within a specific lag structure in a number of economic time series in the U.S. He subsequently returned to these cyclical fluctuations a number of times widening the range of observation.
