About the Author
Andre Walker has received five Emmys for his work on The Oprah Winfrey Show. He has served as Ms. Winfrey's personal hairstylist for over a decade and her wardrobe consultant for over three years. Walker's celebrity clients include Barbara Bush, Maya Angelou, Debbie Allen, Jackée, Lonette McKee, Roseanne, and Halle Berry, for whom he created what is commonly referred to as the "Halle Berry haircut." His work has appeared in numerous publications, including Vogue, Good Housekeeping, Harper's Bazaar, Allure, Essence, Ebony, and People.

The book covers care for all hair types and for women of all ages and ethnicities. Walker provides women with tricks of the trade that will enable them to be discerning hair customers.
