About the Author

Majoring in psychology, Elizabeth received a B.A. from Syracuse University and an M.A. from Chapman University majoring in educational psychology with credentials in college counseling, administration and teaching. She has advanced credentials in clinical hypnosis and had worked with doctors involved with heart transplant patients.

Her work experience includes public and private human services. She has been a director of a drug center and served as a probation officer with criminally incarcerated youth and with troubled families and children.

Currently, Elizabeth is a spiritual and personal fitness mentor and teaches creative writing. She is a Bishop in the Madonna Ministry, which includes programs for global peace, non-violence, elder abuse and environmental protection. She and her husband live in Santa Barbara, Ca.

Elizabeth has written three other books, A Return To Spiritual Innocence: Happiness and Wisdom In Times Of Uncertainty. The Woman's Book Of Comfort And Strength, and Spiritual Fitness For The Heart.
