PreSchool-Grade 3. "We're going to Crazy Family Fun World. Yay! I feel car sick. Oh. So I get to sit in front. Yay!" The narrator relates the rest of the day's experiences in alternating "Yay!" and "Oh" statements and always comes out the winner. Yay! The adults freak out on the amusement park rides; siblings get lost in the mirror maze; no one wants to eat, so the boy gets all the money. Yay! "This day has been the BEST." Zany, exaggerated drawings in poster-bright colors add silliness that will bring guffaws from kids who would trade their favorite soccer ball for a day like this one. Imported from Australia, the book shows the steering wheel on the right and an emu and kangaroos by the roadside.
