Lorne A. Adrain, a graduate of Harvard Business School, is the author of The Most Important Thing I Know and The Most Important Thing I Know About the Spirit of Sport. He founded Volunteers in Service in Our Neighborhoods (VISION) and has served as the president of Rhode Island Special Olympics. All author proceeds of The Most Important Thing I Know About Love will go to charities aiding at-risk children. He lives in Providence, Rhode Island, with his wife, novelist Ann Hood, and their three children.
