This book offers more complete answers to fewer questions than Seymour Simon's 101 Questions and Answers About Dangerous Animals (Macmillan, 1985), which follows a similar format. Some prior scientific knowledge may be necessary to fully appreciate the answers, yet even younger readers will be able to comprehend them. The book is suitable for browsing or, because of the detailed table of contents and its arrangement in descending hierarchical order from mammals to fish, report writing.
