When a book is dedicated "for my brothers Derek and Christopher, who came with the terror-tory" it's a good bet there's some fun to follow. Edward has hidden a rock under his bed, and his brother(who must have read The Enormous Egg) terrorizes him with a set of suppositions: What if that rock were really a dinosaur egg? What if it hatched? What if Edward had to take care of it? What if the egg's family came to find the baby and punish its eggnapper? What if Edward turned the tables on his brother? (This book is recommended for ages 6 to 9, although no-one older will mind an excuse to read it aloud to a young listener.)
