From Booklist:
PreS-Gr. 1. Little Bunny and Baby Brother get up Christmas Eve to go with their parents to choose their Christmas tree. Some are too big, some too spare, but it is the small, live tree in a bucket, as tall as Little Bunny, that the children love. When they decorate it that night, Little Bunny can put the star on top herself. Soft-colored pencil-on-board illustrations are done primarily in reds and greens: Baby Brother has green jammies, and Little Bunny's are red. Green initial caps for the text and a red-and-green bell tailpiece are nice touches. Skirting the edge of sentimentality without quite falling over into bathos, this is a slight but gentle addition to the flood of holiday tales. For larger collections. GraceAnne DeCandido
