Kindergarten-Grade 3 This straightforward and easy to understand text, substantially re vised from the 1964 edition, is suitable for the youngest readers. Information on birds drinking from melted water on the iceberg and icebergs creating waves when they turn upside down has been replaced with a lot of information on the Titanic. Gans has also updated in formation on the methods for sighting icebergs. Rosenblum's attractive illus trations are colorful, and coupled with the text serve to make this an excellent addition to any collection. Danger, Ice berg Ahead (Random, 1961; o.p.) by Lynn Poole and Icebergs & Glaciers (Garrard, 1961) by Patricia Lauber are for older readers. Kathleen M.
