Synopsis
In 2390… When Mire finds a chunk of crystal embedded in the grout behind a bar, everyone starts clamoring for a chance to claim it as their own. The cyborg-elect wants to use it to set all the world’s volcanoes off at once, a sexy shapeshifting alien says her soulmate is trapped in the thing, and Mire's wife is ensconced in her own unreality. Over the course of six months, he focuses all of his attention on this crystal and the robots he creates with it while still managing to keep his friendships alive, but there's no way his discovery is the cause of the apocalypse, right?
