About the Author:

Airregina Clay is a Chicago native, born and raised in the city’s south side. At a very young age, Airregina had a passion for the arts, people, and social justice. In 2009 Airregina co-founded The Healing Experience Inc., a non-for-profit dedicated to community and youth resource development in the city of Chicago. Airregina is the Founder and CEO of Smart Artist Publishing Co., established in 2018. Airregina has been a writer of poetry for the past 15 years and a spoken word performer for 10 years. Airregina received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from DePaul University, located in Chicago, Illinois.
