Synopsis
It's the 1960s and a young and naive Larissa Lasoya has returned to her hometown in northern New Mexico to begin her career at a local college. She soon becomes the victim of sexual harassment by a colleague, and she experiences obstacles and barriers placed in her path by the "good old boys club." When conventional methods to eliminate her problems fail, Larissa takes matters into her own hands.

About the Author
M. A. Estevis was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, but spent much of her adult life in New Mexico. While teaching in the northern part of the state, she met her husband, also a native Texan. They eventually returned to live in Texas and now make their home in the Lower Rio Grande Valley. She is retired from the University of Texas.
