About the Author

Lavie Margolin founded LCJS consulting in 2003. He uses his background in marketing and adult learning, and over a decade of experience in career coaching to help individuals and businesses identify and reach goals. Lavie began his career in 2003 as a job developer for a large health and human services organization where he gained valuable mentorship from career counselors with 30 years of experience. Since then he has gained experience working with faith-based, non-profit, educational, and for-profit organizations. He has also worked as a placement specialist for recent immigrants and career counselor for students in undergraduate programs. He has taught and created curriculum for career development courses, and facilitated group workshops and staff trainings. As a private consultant, Lavie has worked with people of all ages in all career stages and fields as a partner in finding career satisfaction. He has also worked with businesses to create and maintain each company’s intended web image, and to use LinkedIn and social media to draw in business. Lavie holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from Yeshiva University, and is studying towards an MA in adult learning at SUNY Empire State. Lavie has an expert knowledge of LinkedIn. Lavie is regularly quoted in the media, including articles featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and CNN.com.
