About the Author:
Elin Hampton (Concept, Book, and Lyrics) Elin’s full-length plays, short plays, and musicals have been produced at The Greenway Arts Alliance, The Road Theatre Company, The Hollywood Fringe Festival, InterAct, ALAP, The Hudson Backstage, New York’s The Duplex, and at the York Theatre Company. As a librettist, she contributed to "Princess Javasu," an opera currently in development. She spent many years as a television writer and producer, penning numerous shows, including “Mad About You,” “Dream On,” “Pinky and the Brain,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “The Jackie Thomas Show,” “Rugrats,” “House of Buggin,’” “The Gregory Hines Show,” “The Wild Thornberries,” and “Baby Bob.” She is a member of The Dramatist Guild, WGA, ASCAP, TCG, The Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights, the Los Angeles Female Playwrights Initiative, and EST Playwrights' Unit. Gerald Sternbach (Music) As a composer/songwriter/arranger: "Heartbeats" (w/Amanda McBroom), "Mary" (w/Faye Greenberg) for the TV Land Awards, "A-5-6-7-8!" (w/Barbara Epstein), and music for Ringling Brothers. As an Associate Conductor: B’way, "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," "Merlin," "The Tap Dance Kid." Conductor for the National tour: "Song and Dance," LA Premiere: "Les Miserables." Mr. Sternbach is a renowned musical director, musical supervisor, vocal coach and accompanist. In 2007, he was presented the Joel Hirschhorn Award for excellence in the musical theater by the LA Drama Critics Circle. He has earned nine Ovation nominations (one win), seven LADCC nominations (3 wins), and three Garland Awards. He was the onstage pianist for Stephen Sondheim’s 75th Birthday Concert, for "A Night with Mel Brooks" and for Carrie Fisher’s "Wishful Drinking." He has worked with Marilyn Horne, Carol Burnett, Adam Lambert, Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman, Neil Patrick Harris, Nancy Wilson, Kelsey Grammar, John Lithgow, Florence Henderson, Donna McKechnie and Jennifer Hudson, among many.
