Synopsis

Moving From Vision To Action is a practical guide for local churches to take the all-important step of translating what they believe into actionable, definable, and measurable steps. It is essentially a guidebook for pastoral and lay leaders to cooperatively develop the strategic and tactical plans that are often neglected when considering the vision for what the local church can become. This book examines the strengths and weaknesses of the current leaders and helps them assess and develop the skills that they need to lead the modern church.

About the Author

Kevin Bowser is the husband of a beautiful and wonderful woman. He is the father of two of the greatest kids on the planet. He is a father-in-law to a great young woman. And he is "Papa" to three very special grandchildren. In his spare time he is one of the creative forces behind Leadership Voices, LLC, a collaborative blog that covers the many facets of leadership.

He is a leadership coach and mentor to other leaders who want to grow and become even more effective. He works for a major integrated energy company in Houston on complex projects around the world. And if there is any time left over, he works with small non-profit organizations and churches on the topics of change management, crisis intervention and leadership development. And then, if there is any more time left over, he is an author with one book completed and at least one more already in the works.

He has been an active blogger and writer since 2006.

From the Back Cover

Kevin Bowser is a gift to the local church. His love for the church, respect and honor for the pastor, and knowledge of leadership from a church and business perspective allow him to become a resource to churches of all sizes.

My first connection to Kevin was when he was mentoring me and working with the congregation that I was leading at that time. He helped us to take steps towards becoming everything we could be for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom. As a recipient of this material when it was crafted in its beginning stages, I can vouch for its value. I have grown immensely under the coaching that Kevin offered to me and I have continued to grow through the years because of the lessons I have learned and the wise counsel he offered, and still does offer to me. It is truly a blessing to be able to recommend this guidebook. My prayer is that Kevin and his ministry will also encourage other pastors and churches.
