About the Author

Deborah L. Alten Deborah is a freelance writer, editor, and Indie publisher. She believes that fiction, including speculative fiction, is a bridge to God, especially for those who might not yet believe in him. She loves to write flash fiction and short stories which makes up her book, Short Tales of Secret Worlds: The Flash Fiction Chronicles of Eámanë. She’s completed the first two books of the Pa’raGhon series: a fantasy, time traveling saga of the Watchers and their nemesis, the Nephilim. Deborah has also published a couple of cookbooks and worked with singer/song writer and children’s author, Mary Rice Hopkins. Her passion is to work alongside first-time authors and encourage them to start writing, or at least begin with an outline. Deborah blogs at AltenInk.com, and on any given day you’ll find her hanging out on social networks. And she requires a daily dose of milk chocolate. Julie A. Cave Julie once got an “F” on a college English paper! Professor said she didn’t know how to write a simple sentence! Undaunted, she marched up to her desk to justify her writing skills: “My high school teacher insisted on complex sentences!” The grade did not change. It’s a wonder she ever became an editor, but she did. · Former Editor of Bookstore Journal – Christian Booksellers Association · Former Managing Editor at Multnomah Press in Portland, Oregon Besides having published articles, and book reviews in magazines, Julie owned a graphic design business. Until recently, she was the librarian for Community Christian School in Hemet, California. Now with more free time, she’s working on writing projects and has entered the blogosphere. Her blog The Suitcase Journals can be found at http://www.JulieAnneCave.blogspot.com If you ask those who know her, you’ll most likely be told “Oh, she’s quiet, petite, de-pendable, creative, and loves to read.” All true. But if you ask Julie, she’d tell you: “I’m nothing special, just a woman who believes in the power of words, and intent on pleasing God. I also require a daily dose of dark chocolate.”
