This book is straight from the bible. It's not based on feelings or thoughts but the bible. The book describes what the word "covenant" means in Hebrew, how it is to be used, and how God looks at divorce since He Himself divorced Israel.
I went to bible college but as I entered the world of dating and marriage I found I was not able nor equipped to understand this most important topic. It's a topic you will seldom find addressed in a theological class at Bible College although this subject, hands down, effects more Christians today than ever before.
I have been studying this subject for aprox. 20 years and it wasn't until these last few years that God really opened my eyes to the scriptures as I myself contemplated divorce and God's will for my life. I sent this out to 150 Christian Universities and Bible Colleges. I have received only a few responses back but they were either of small corrections or praise and encouragement in what this book represents, the scriptures it presents, and the subject matter it addressed.
I say, this is a must read for every Christian and Teacher of the Word out there.
It also presents new truths as one woman said, "...this actually fits my beliefs but I have never heard anyone preach it like that?"
