Synopsis
Deadly Risks is a thriller which provides a new slant on JFK's assassination in a gripping story that is sure to entertain. The novel revolves around a young woman's pursuit of her father's hidden past and the role he played in President Kennedy's murder. Kelly Roberts knows nothing of her father's secret life until he dies and a lawyer gives her a letter from her father with the ominous warning that she should discuss it with no one but the lawyer. When she later tries to contact the lawyer, Kelly learns that he has died suddenly -- leaving her to pursue the mystery of her father's letter without the lawyer's guidance. With twists and turns based on political reality and historical fact, Deadly Risks weaves a tale of intrigue and passion that resounds with the ring of authenticity.

About the Author
Lew Paper is the author of four books in addition to Deadly Risks -- John F. Kennedy: The Promise and the Performance, Brandeis: An Intimate Biography, Empire: William S. Paley and the Making of CBS, and Perfect: Don Larsen's Miraculous World Series Game and the Men Who Made It Happen. Lew is a graduate of Harvard Law School who has served as Legislative Counsel to a United States Senator, an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Law School, and a Teaching Fellow in Government at Harvard College. His articles and book reviews have appeared in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The New Republic.
