I wrote "A Practical Guide to Simple Happiness" because I want to live in a happier world. My theory is simple, as more and more people become happier, the happiness will spread and the world will be a better place to live in. I call this " The Ripple Effect of Happiness".I was raised by an alcoholic mother and a depressed father. I was not a very happy person until I met a therapist who helped me release much of my childhood anger, resentments toward my parents and resentments toward myself, in only one secession! That experience changed the way I look at the world for the better! Since that time 20 years ago, I've continued working on myself and have reached a point of happiness where I felt what I have learned is worth sharing."A Practical Guide to Simple Happiness" was written to share what I have learned, what I currently do, what I believe, and various techniques and routines I engage in which have made me a happier person. I have designed this book to be a fast and enjoyable read containing real life situations, humor, and lots of illustrations. Included are practical and immediate changes people can make in their lives to foster more happiness.
