Excellent. Finally--a book about backpacking in Kentucky. Covers all the best places, including Red River Gorge and Land Between the Lakes, plus several areas I didn't know about. Topo maps are awesome. Lots of hiking tips, too. Book is well-worth the money.

Love it! Wondered why there weren't many reviews, then realized that many people bought this from their local outfitter/book store. But many people rely on Amazon for reliable info so I posted here.

Ran into the author yesterday on the trail. Really helpful and gave us some great advice.
