Natalie Reid (MA, TESOL) has been teaching English writing skills in Europe, Japan, the Pacific, and the U.S. for over 25 years, specializing in academic writing, journal analysis, and technical writing. She is the author of three books on American language and culture, published in Tokyo for a Japanese readership, and is the coauthor of the bilingual Dictionary of English Phrasal Usage. She also designs and teaches language training workshops for native speakers of English in both the public and private sectors. Since the early 2000s she has concentrated on teaching academic writing to, consulting with, and editing books and papers for European social scientists and other professionals. The original edition of Getting Published in International Journals was published in 2010 by NOVA—Norwegian Social Research Institute, Oslo.
