Synopsis

A collection of essays on the journey and joy of exploring religion and philosophy outside the bounds of habit. Inspired by the song of the same title, written by Tomás Garretón, this book follows the theme of the classic hero's journey, of "going out to see" and never returning "alive", or, the same, again. The author comes from a thick Christian background, and this is his beginning attempt to break out of that mold, without the unnecessary tension that usually comes with it. He approaches the topic with reverence and understanding, much to the side of his robust and rebellious antics of younger years.
