Motion picture rights to Christ the Lord, Out of Egypt, have been optioned by Cyrus and Betsy Nowrasteh and Chris Columbus of the 1492 company. Cyrus and Betsy Nowrasteh have written the script.   The movie is in development. (2010). Cyrus Nowrasteh directed The Stoning of Soraya M, from a script written by him with his wife Betsy.
