Synopsis

This teaching atlas will provide a comprehensive but concise view of orthopaedic radiology. It will give examples of the classical appearances of a wide range of orthopaedic and rheumatological conditions. Each image will be accompanied by key points about the condition e.g. incidence, characteristic, age, with emphasis on salient features of the imaging used. Further imaging modalities will be highlighted as and when necessary. The conditions will be grouped into chapters by their aetiology, e.g. congenital, joint pathology.

The authors have a superb collection of illustrations, the majority of which will be plain film with supplementary imaging such as CT, MRI, ultrasound and isotope scanning.
