After a quick introduction to basic tools and techniques--mixing, coloring, contouring--Imoti offers a sweet roundup of projects for home decoration and gift giving. Tree ornaments are here, but so are picture frames decorated with shell shapes and delicately modeled flower petals, fetching refrigerator magnets, clever wall murals perfect for the nursery or a toddler's room, and animal characters with lots of personality. Step-by-step photos are usually supplied only for teaching techniques, but the many beautiful color photos of finished products are generally sufficient to set crafters off in the right direction.
