The text is illustrated with colour photography and black and white line drawings. White coloured boards with a pink floral overall design with green coloured titles to the back strip. Photographic dustwrapper with grey and burgundy coloured titles to the front panel and blue and burgundy coloured titles to the back strip. This is a well set out book, with the basic instructions at the beginning of the book, followed by recipes which have been divided into one of three categories depending upon the difficulty of preparation, and cooking. Rubbing and some discolouration to the book corners and back strip edges. Age toning of the text block edges. Creasing of the dustwrapper edges with rubbing and fading of the back strip and rubbing of the panels. Some marks are present. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). "Margaret Isobel Fulton OAM (6 October 1924 - 24 July 2019) was a Scottish-born Australian food and cooking writer, journalist, author and commentator. She was the first of this genre of writers in Australia Fulton's early recipes encouraged Australians to alter their traditional staple of "meat and three vegetables" and to be creative with food. She encouraged international cuisine from places such as Spain, Italy, India and China. As the cookery editor of the Woman's Day magazine, she "brought these into Australian homes through her articles."
