On a Sunday night a bank was entered around midnight and the night-watchman was tied up and gagged - but nothing was apparently stolen. The manager scratched his head in perplexity, so did the Scotland Yard men. But something had been taken; and later was impudently returned. It took a Stock Exchange panic to discover the fact. And the discovery was due to a rabbit, that seemed to have loped from a bank in Hampshire to a woodland in Surrey.
