Synopsis
Mícheál Fanning is a superb poet. A poet has an obligation to bear witness to the human, the vulnerable. and the sacred, and Fanning does just this. This is an unusual, unique experience of a mystic exploring the mysterious world of an ancient and modern Kerry tribal people in the southwest of Ireland. John Minihan has beautifully illustrated the poems with non-digital black and white photographs appropriately chosen to synchronize with reference to the poem itself.
