Celebrated quantum physicist David Bohm's relatively concise offering of his notions regarding the implicate and explicate orders of reality - that the apparent specificness of qualities such as location, and the perceived separateness of things (whether particles or people), that being the explicate order, may in fact be only a semi-autonomous, and certainly temporary, reflection of a greater, underlying, undivided whole (the implicate order). Bohm's thinking in this regard is part of what has led to a variety of hypotheses about the universe, as perceived by us, being "holographic". Box 38n
