An interdisciplinary collection examining the concept of the person and personhood from social, philosophical, psychological, religious, and humanistic perspectives. The essays address such subjects as personal identity, the biosocial concept of the person, self-actualization, social relationships, and differing approaches to understanding human personhood. xii + 212 pages. CONDITION: Good ex-library hardcover. Original red cloth boards show rubbing, handling wear, scattered marks, and some fading. Gilt spine lettering remains readable. A darker rectangular area/residue is present on the rear board, apparently from a removed library label. Former University of Kansas Medical Center Lending Medical Library copy, with library stamps, accession/call-number markings, book-sale/deaccession stamp, library label, and additional handwritten catalog numbers.
