Synopsis
Fashion in Photographs is an authoritative series of fashion guides covering the period 1860-1940. This fourth and final volume features 150 period photographs, showing a wide variety of dress worn between 1920 and 1940.
The black and white plates are taken from the photographic archive of London's National Portrait Galleryóa vast collection of more than 100,000 images and a major source for costume historians.
