No dust jacket but a slip case of similar design. 328 pp. with numerous illustrations, some in colour. The book is in very good condition with only very slight bumping of the bottom corners of the cover, the right-hand half of the ffep has been neatly removed, otherwise the pages are clean and unmarked. The slip case is in fair condition with shelf-wear to the extremities including a 1.5" split to the bottom and a former owner's name and another note written in biro to the front. Matching paper covered boards are colour illustrated by Ambrus with a matching colour dust jacket and matching colour illustrated slipcase. Several full page colour illustrations within and integral black and white illustrations throughout. Slight suggestion of tanning to the edges of the dust jacket and boards else very clean. Hint of a roll to the top edge of the dust jacket. Slipcase is rubbed in several places with one point on the open edge where the board is exposed. Slipcase has surface scuffs and some faint marks, there is also a suggestion of dust marking. The slipcase is sound and the colours are bright.
