Dave Cohen is a professional ceramic craft person, who has taught at many art institutions. He was a lecturer in ceramics at Edinburgh College of Art, and was Head of Ceramics at Glasgow School of Art for 5 years, as well as visiting lecturer at many places around the world in the USA and Israel. In America he has lectured over the years at many places, including the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, the Maryland Institute of Art and Design in Baltimore, Iowa State University and many community colleges in Portland Oregon. He has previously written A Visual Language for A&C Black. His work has been shown in many exhibitions around the world, and he has had several solo shows in Scotland. Now in his seventies, he continues to work from his studio at home in North Berwick, Scotland.
