Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (£2.00). By the author of Get Carter. Jacket has faults - namely minor patchy edge/shelf wear, a few small marks, one small (approx. 8mms tear/hole to middle of spine, a little patchy creasing/rubbing to edges, patchy browning (including to spine), the odd spot of foxing, a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, little pushing/bumping to corners (which has resulted in tiny loss in a couple of places), little browning/creasing/rubbing to front/back inner flaps and is in only good condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners, minor patchy fading (including to spine), the odd small bump/rub to edges and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages are a bit tanned. Odd small mark/mild foxing to page edges and tops. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to bottom edge of pages. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. Paper lining back board is creased/folded over at the top corner (giving the impression that top corner is missing). No other faults.
