Published by John Murray Publishers in 1980, this is the first hardback printing of Jean Randier's MARINE NAVIGATION INSTRUMENTS: Translated from the French by John Powell. Blue cloth binding, gilt lettering, 219 pages including sumptuous colour and b/w illustrations, the book is in very good condition with some top page edge and end paper spotting and some very minor sun fading to the front and rear top cloth edges. The dust jacket is also very good with some very minor creasing and a miniscule single tear approximately 7mm in length to the front top near the spine. The book is exceedingly heavy and therefore due to the farcically astronomical and completely unjustified corporate carrier increases of the last 18 months, additional postage must be applied to areas outside the UK as follows: Europe £5, Rest of the World £10.
