About the Author
Neil Butterworth was music critic for the Times Educational Supplement and the Sunday Times Scotland and a reviewer for Classic CD. In addition he was a frequent broadcaster for BBC Radio Scotland. He also conducted the Glasgow Orchestral Society for 26 years. Although he has composed and published many musical compositions, in recent years he has concentrated on writing books.
