About the Author
Whitelaw began her writing career as a cub reporter on a newspaper and becme the youngest female chief reporter in London. She has had over thirty novels published, as well as approximately 230 short stories.

Before Jordan can sink her teeth into either case, she stumbles on a dead body and becomes the victim of a particularly bizarre kidnapping. But the always intrepid, ingenious Jordan, a disarmingly appealing heroine who's a bit of a renegade, is up to the task, as usual. This offbeat series combines meaty plots with plenty of zany goings-on, in the manner of Janet Evanovich, and it is steadily gaining fans among those who like a comic edge to their crime.
