About the Author

Helen Farley was born in 1968 in Birmingham, England, and came with her parents to Australia when she was three. She completed a bachelor of Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland before beginning her career as a writer in 1993 when she began writing for Brisbane music magazine RAVE. TEALEAF READING is Helen's first book, drawing on her experience as a reader in the popular Brisbane tearoom Café Gemini. She lives in Brisbane with her black and white cat, Gibson.
