Peter A. Hunt is Managing Director at Shattuck Hammond Partners LLC, a boutique investment banking firm with offices in New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Atlanta. At Shattuck Hammond, he focuses on mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital raising for start-up and high growth companies in the health care industry. He is a former Senior Managing Director in Corporate Finance of Banc of America Securities, Inc. where he was also a Director of Mergers and Acquisitions. Peter joined Banc of America Securities from Montgomery Securities, as a result of the acquisition of Montgomery by NationsBank and the subsequent merger between NationsBank and Bank of America. Prior to Banc of America Securities, Peter was a Vice President at Lehman Brothers in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group, and a Vice President in the Strategic Advisory/M&A Group at J.P. Morgan & Co., Inc.
Peter is the co-founder, and former President and COO of CornerHardware.com, a business-to-consumer Internet home improvement company. He started the company in early 1999, raising approximately $30 million capital, and then sold the company in February 2001.
