Grades 3-6--A brief and readable book designed to provide most of the information needed for school reports. It is clearly written and covers geography, history and government, economy, and culture, with each topic having several subdivisions. Individual chapters begin with a box of "Fast Facts" offered in more detail in the text. Colored photos and maps appear throughout; each one is clear and carefully labeled. A serviceable addition to most collections.
