Since its first titles were released more than 25 years ago, the Opposing Viewpoints series has set a standard for its comprehensive coverage of the arguments surrounding society’s most controversial issues. The format remains somber and plain: graphs, charts, and occasional political cartoons provide the only illustration on the black-and-white pages.
