About the Author:
Jeffrey Wayne Maulhardt is a history teacher, fifthgeneration Ventura County native, and the author of other volumes, including Arcadia Publishing books on Oxnard and Port Hueneme. Here Maulhardt uses his own voluminous collection of Ventura County photographs, the albums of local citizens, and images donated by the Pleasant Valley Historical Society and the Camarillo Ranch Foundation to portray his forebearers’ hometown.
